Sizing Your Bucket

ACS General Purpose Buckets are available in 3/4 yard to a maximum of 5 yards in 1/4 yard increments. ACS offers sizes larger than five yards in the Asbury General Purpose Bucket (for heavier duty applications), the ACS Light Material Bucket (for very light material up to 2,200 lbs/sq. yd.) and the Asbury Material Handling Bucket (harsh conditions/light material up to 2,500 lbs./sq. yd.)

Features

• Easy Rebuilds

  Heavy wear areas are designed to be separate components of the bucket anatomy, so when they finally do need replaced, you can do so cleanly, more easily and achieve “like-new” results.

• Faster Loading and Dumping

  We designed the floor of the GP bucket to promote material boil for improved loading. Boiled material gets out of the way of new material entering the bucket, reducing required horsepower and fuel consumption.The floor also delivers a steeper dump angle at full height so that less material gets left behind and you can begin the next load circuit with a clean bucket.

• High Strength Steel

  Heavy wear areas are constructed with premium-grade AR 400 steel for maximum impact and abrasion resistance. AR 400 steel has a minimum BNH (Brinell Hardness Number) of 360 and is valued for its durability and strong resistance to abrasion.

Options

• Bolt-On Edge

  Increase the lifespan of your bucket with a beveled, wear-resistant steel edge that takes the brunt of all first-contact impacts. Double-sided for twice extended life; when one side wears down, simply turn it around to expose the fresh edge. Weld-on AR 400 steel skid pads at bottom rear of bucket included. Factory painted and installed to match either ACS or OEM hole patterns.

• Bolt-On Teeth

  Enable your bucket to dig more aggressively by puncturing and loosening handled material before the bucket edge digs in with bolt-on teeth. ACS offers a wide array of tooth brands and tooth duty options.

• Coupler Configurations

  Get your attachment configured to be pinned directly to the loader arms, work with a coupler you already own or buy your attachment as a package with one of our rugged hydraulic coupler choices below.

  • Pro Series 2000

    

    Our most advanced coupler design for the 4WD loader. The compact body balances strength with performance, keeping the payload close to the loader for the closest-in CG (center of gravity) in the industry. Features the ACS original single-point hookup design for fast, smooth coupling — even on uneven terrain.

• Drill Patterns

  ACS will precision drill your bucket to accept OEM or ACS wear parts.

• Latch Hook

  Factory installed latch hooks are located on the top lip of the bucket to give you a safe, reliable way to lift objects with a chain. Installed package includes additional reinforcement plates and a hook with a sturdy safety latch. Hooks are rated at 5 or 10 tons as determined by loader’s lift capabilities. Can be installed in a quantity of 1, 2 or 3 to a bucket.

• Rubber Bolt-On Edge

  6” thick super-tough rubber edge protects the bucket and machine from wear and vibrations that could cause premature failure. Protects floor of the facility from damage and does a better job of cleaning facility floor than metal edge. Recommended for applications where loose, lightweight material is re-handled on hard surfaces (EG: Concrete warehouse floor). Made of 100% recycled tires. Bolts to the bucket with standard hardware for quick changes.

• Spill Guard

  Prevents material from spilling towards the loader while in full roll-back and protects hydraulic lines and linkage from damage by falling debris.
